The fourth Community Media Network Meeting was dedicated to a new reporting approach in the Cameroonian media landscape: Peace Journalism.
Therefore, the Community Media Network invited Mr Wolfram Metzig and Mr Alexander Vojvoda from the CPS – Civil Peace Service project hosted by the PCC to introduce the concept, principles, methods and tools of conflict-sensitive reporting to the network members.

In addition, to the general introduction to the concept of peace journalism the CBS Radio 95.3 MHz and Chariot FM in Buea produced together an audio jingle to promote peace journalism and community media in the South West Region. The jingle was produced in Pidgin-English, English and French, however, some community members translated the jingle in local languages and dialects and remixed the jingle e.g. added local music etc.
